Los Angeles-based rapper, Tyga dropped his latest single, Mamacita, on October 24, 2019. The aesthetic of the music video – featuring Latinx rapper YG and legendary guitarist Carlos Santana – and the timing of the release, inspired a Dia De Los Muertos-themed haunted house release party. Tyga’s Mamacita of the Dead was a 2-day event LA that hosted prominent members of the music scene, and was open to fans. Tyga himself appeared in full costume and makeup, at times blending in with the actors and scaring his celebrity friends and unsuspecting fans.
